Weird text from 908.259.7902, asking me to use 757.944.4585 to update my address for a failed delivery. Feels very spam-ish as I have not moved in a couple years and am not missing any packages

Received a text from 908.259.7902, asking me to call 757.944.4585 and provide my reference number so I did and spoke to a live person. Who proceeded to tell me they’ve been trying to serve my husband and have been unsuccessful, and then tell me he owes money in a loan. Luckily I work for the court and told her that when I got to work tomorrow I’d search the data base and see who couldn’t find our house to serve him and she didn’t like that and hung up

Received a call from 757-944-4585, but my scam shield from Tmobile blocked it. The name associated is Arturo Mendez, from Virginia. Since I do not know such a person named Arturo from Virginia I did not answer. The carrier is Tmobile and the phone type is mobile.

I received a call from this # but didn’t answer because I put EVERYONE I know (family,friends, hospitals I have appointments with ect) so if it’s not already in my phone I don’t answer- I did once and got the whole “we’ve been trying to serve you court papers, you owe all this $ blah,blah, blah” I KNEW it was a scam at that point and hung up- ANYTHING that you’re not POSITIVE about doesn’t have to be dealt with right then and there, you tell them you need to check with your wife, husband, spouse, partner whatever and if they try to keep you on the phone YOU KNOW ITS A SCAM AND HANG UP- Hope that helps someone-

This is a SCAM!!!! They are telling people they owe for a old loan that they or someone they know are in danger of going to jail. DO NOT respond to they or give them any information. If your phone is a cell phone block the number!!!!

A guy called me they trying to serve me papers I kept asking what papers he said he didn't know that he has to talk to his supervisor but they knew my address and my last 4 social how the hell they get that info.. he got me so mad cause he didn't have the answers to my questions so I hanged up and block the number from my phone.

They called and I called back out of curiosity. They told me it was in ref to a loan taken out in 2015 and they are aggressively seeking payment and this is going to court. I have no idea what they are talking about so I told them I never took out a loan . Then He starts saying well we can reduce it as you can reduce it to zero because I don’t know anything goodbye

Received a text this morning stating the address on file was non deliverable today. Contact (757)944-4585 to make changes with a reference number. Also received the same text from a similar number with the last 4 digits changed. This time the reference number was different. SCAMMMMMMM Super SCAM.

I got a text message saying "We had a failed delivery for Crystal to the address on file. Use (757)944-4585 to make changes." With a reference # so I called using my federal work phone and it asks to verify your last 2 digits on social security number then it goes to a law service where I just hung up.

A female spoke quickly and said that mail delivery failed and I needed to call back with an address that this is the only call that would be made to notify me then hung up. My thought- don't call the number back.
